Kylie - Sunshine Coast

"We fell in love with Paul's designs. They bring the outside inside so to speak. There are few quality designer builders out there whose product is not only beautiful but also practical, homely and sustainable"

"Our home on the Sunshine Coast has been loved now for 8 years. We often receive comments like, "It will never date" and "It's just got a great feel". We now have small children. Paul's design allowed for flexible use of spaces and it's worked effortlessly"

"I've worked with many builders throughout my career. The THC team were always a pleasure to deal with. I would build again with them in a heartbeat"

Jan & Terry - Repton NSW

"Clever use of verandas to bring the outside into the home enabled Paul to achieve our desire for a relaxed comfortable living lifestyle and plenty of room to entertain"

"Given our location in the bush and close to the ocean the house is relatively low maintenance considering the high level of humidity in our area"

"Paul designed our house to optimize our stunning view and took a completely different approach than we would have. After living here for many years now we still comment -aren't we glad we listened to Paul and went with his suggestions"

"This is the loveliest house we will ever live in"

Becky - Brisbane

"I have lived very happily in a THC house since 1994. It captures the views, the breeze and the outdoors beautifully"

"The design and workmanship are as fresh today as it was back when it was built all those years ago. A house that is very much admired"

Peter - Hunter Valley NSW

"A few years ago I found 100 acres of wonderful land in the Hunter Valley and wanted to build a unique multi-pavilion home on it. The idea was to run it as an upmarket country retreat"

"Style-wise it needed to reflect the Australian bush and way of life with lots of air and light. I wanted to use typical Australian building products such as timber and corrugated iron but at the same time employ the elegance and simplicity of Japanese design. The house also needed to be energy efficient capturing both light, air and water"

"I found all that and more in Timber House Co. Paul came up with a workable design unique to my needs and together with Marianne, made the whole process from beginning to end a smooth and enjoyable ride. At times there were the inevitable hiccups with council but they were all happily ironed out for me as part of the service"

The building process was amazingly quick and on-budget. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone else. As a matter of fact I have already done just that"

Carol & Peter - Northern NSW

"Four pavilions linked by a central verandah and pond have worked beautifully for us for many years, not simply as a house but as an environment.

High ceilings, huge eaves, louvres, expanses of glass and a choice of decks make for protection from the elements and wonderful air movement.

Whether hot and steamy or wet and wild, we move around, inside or out, with a liberating sense of freedom.

Many come here and most remark on the quality of construction and the sense of well-being the house evokes in them.

This is what good architecture should be about and we have Paul, and the builder he recommended, to thank for it."
